Elton John AIDS Foundation Charity Gala Performance - Tuesday 19th September 2006
There was a special performance of Wicked on Tuesday evening, which was in aid of the Elton John AIDS Foundation and was hosted by Sharon Osbourne. There was a dinner after the performance, and below is a photo of James from the event with co-star Martin Ball.

Martin Ball a co-star of James' in Wicked (he will play Doctor Dillamond) has been writing a weekly blog of how the rehearsals of Wicked are going. It's an excellent read, so be sure to check it out if you can - Blog (click here). On his recent entry he wrote a lovely comment about James, which I have included below:
"Katie Rowley-Jones and James Gillan’s scenes as Nessa and Boq are compelling and touching – as beautifully sung as they are acted, and James’ Boq is simply heartbreaking."

James is currently in rehearsals for Wicked, and informs me that all is going well and he is enjoying working with the cast and is very excited for the show to open now :)
